Little Bird Tales is a site for preK & elementary students to use to create digital stories. It is easy for young students to use, as it walks them through each step of creating a multimedia slideshow story. They can upload their own images, draw images, or record from their webcams. Stories can be written with text or narrated by students using built in microphones.

To use Storybird you simply select either an art inspired theme, works from Storybird artists, or by a challenge word. Then drag & drop the drawings you like into your story. Once you've selected drawings for your story, simply type in the text of your story. Anyone can create great-looking digital picture books, regardless of drawing skills or lack there-of. You can browse through & read other stories, because everything is screened for school & age appropriate material.
